Here's my layout for my challenge blog, "Beyond Appearances"...

I am blown away with all the creativity these ladies that are on this blog with me have shown, super wow!
I am so glad I started this challenge blog, makes me feel like I have myself a mini site, and I know a pipe dream, but if keeps going well it could turn into a site?!
Yes a dream of mine...someday...! :)



Anyways I am so tired tonight...was over at my mom's today, cleaned some of her house, went for an hour walk, got home and just zonked out.
Tim and I picked up his parents tonight, after they were gone for a month in Ontario.

Ahh, yes the long weekend is coming, wonder what trouble I can get into, hehe...joking.
K, will update again soon, too tired...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........

On a more positive note...

Thanks for letting me just go thru the emotions last night.
Just so you know I am a very positive person, but we all go thru
these times of, "I will never..." etc, etc. I think we all need to look reality
straight in the eyes.
So if these things don't happen, will I be less of a person? No, don't think so...
it might just take some time. A different journey for me, roads that haven't been
travelled down. All things can be used for good. You might not think so, but I really believe they can be. We were destined from day one.

Anyways I am finally back home in our small apt.
Almost all summer housesitting and I can sit back and be on my own computer, my own bed, my own tv...ahh...
Still will miss the house tho that we looked after. Well a few at that.
So much room, so little time, hehe...
Crossing fingers about a job at an lss. I hope I get it, not far from where I live.
It opens mid September.

here I am trying to create and I feel so restless. I have so much ahead of me to do. i am looking at pictures, trying to gather my thoughts, figure out what I can put my hands to...
nothing is coming, I am getting overwhelmed with all the photos to be scrapped, the stories of yesterday, the nagging of things to come.

things on my mind:

*i will never get a job i truly love, or one for that matter, sigh...
*the car will always give us trouble
*i wont get to go to CK Bellevue due to financial burdens
*my hubby and i won't see eye to eye
*my family will continue to see me as a burden (so i feel)
*i will never rid my anxieties
*i will never reach the next plateau of where i want to be as an artist
*i will never be POTD in the pub
*none of my layouts will never be published
*i will go on, day by day just living without feeling too much drive or purpose
*i will continue to struggle with wanting to buy things i cant afford

i probably have more, but won't continue on. I am fine, don't worry bout that. i think everyone needs to write their feelings down like this.

it's okay to be negative and get these things out. i wouldn't ever do anything to myself...
i'm a strong woman and will continue on my journey.

Something shiny and sweet....

Did you know that I love lip gloss? I just love smoothing it over my lips! I just love the shiny look, the satiny feel. I have a fascination with eyes and lips to be honest.


Why am I talking about this? Cuz it's my blog and I can if, I "blog to".

I had bought some lip gloss in S. Korea when I was there, and I love it! But do you think I can get more? Nope! It even has a tinge of brown to it...
If I went back to Asia, possibly but when will that happen?

I was going to write a long vent well a couple of vents, but I thought this might be better. Let me get my thoughts together and compile a list of things that bother me, then I'll update.

Here's my latest layouts...

This one is from the first, "Last Scrapper Standing" challenge... I wrote that poem myself.



The second "LSS" challenge, which I totally loved! I did a 12 x 12 layout, and a two pager at that. We had to have 13 pictures on it, and so I stretched myself again. Didn't make into round #3 but I came out a winner in my eyes anyways. I stretched myself as an artist and did something that I thought I couldn't do. I also wrote the poem here.







Did this one for Beyond Apperances. The challenge blog I started. Not totally happy with it, but hey this is what my name would be if I had a chance, hehe...

Another layout, but this time I didn't write this poem, found it online, I just added the ending to it. I used this paper before and I totally love it!

I don't know why I bother to update this, but it's like my online journal. I hope some of you read my stuff, but if you don't oh well. I can read it and get it out of my system.
Been a crazy kind of a good week for me.
Did a few good layouts I think. :)
I made it all the way to round #2 for the, "Last Scrapper Standing" competition and that's when it stopped.
Oh well now I can relax and not have my mind jumping around in circles. That's the theme for #3....hehe...
Tim took today off thinking that our friend was coming to visit for the weekend, no call, no nothing.
Wouldn't that peeve you off? I mean it takes a few minutes to let us know if your coming or not... He said he was leaning towards, yes...but I guess it's not that important to him or he got busy. I have no clue...
I won't even get into what is bugging me... I think I am going to let it out in a layout if I can just let go and just do it!

Oh funny story, Grandma and I were picking Blackberries the other day...
This is what I wrote the other day but didn't put it in my blog so here goes, hehe...

I had a mishap today, lol....
Grandma and I went and picked blackberry's, both of us got lots of big delicious ones.
Well I went over to see if I could get the berries she missed, wrong move!
She tripped over a vine (now remember she is 80!), and in the process of her falling, she knocked me over. So here I am sitting on my arse, with prickles going up me, sitting on some berries etc. I was like, ouch, oooh....
Poor Grandma it took her a few minutes to get up, but she did. She works out at least 2 times a week and is quite active. Otherwise we would of been stuck in the berry patch.
Once she got up, I could get up gently, lol. Scratch city here, and lol, my pants had berry marks..hehe.
I said, "I think we have enough berries", and we went back to her place! :grin:
Too bad no one had a ruddy camera to take a pic of us, cuz I could do a layout on this...hehe...

Heck I'm healing and now that I think about it, it's flipping hystercial!

Oh and I met a super neat gal on peas, Michelle (Me Me Pea), have been emailing with her, and it's been awesome. Some future fun things we are talking about. ;)
